Chanel Pre-Fall 2013/2014 FULL Fashion Show: Metiers d'Art "Paris-Edimbourg"

The setting was Linlithgow Palace where the designer presented "Paris-Edimbourg," a Metiers d'Art collection which is the annual Chanel line showcased in a different location celebrating Chanel's smaller ateliers. Essentially, the collection focused on both dark drama and Scottish classics like tartan, argyle, and kilts. But beyond that, it was Lagerfeld at his best -- with theatricality and pure fashion at every corner, from opening model Stella Tennant in a coat with a kilt and pleats to the Scottish royalty-inspired looks including the tiered white wool towards the end.
